The Alpha entry

Well, a lot of folks send out Christmas cards or letters, but in this electronic age, we have decided to put a little blog together and point our friends and family to it. Lazy? perhaps, but you could just say we are so "tech savy" :)

So, this was the first Christmas that one of our immediate family was not with us! Even though Denton spent almost a year in Kenya, and a semester in Russia, it was not until his Korea adventure that we had to celebrate the big holiday without him. Thanks to Skype, we did talk to him several times and "see" him. Josh has been fun this week, as he takes a break from Florida State ( who just kicked Wisconsin's butt in the Champs Bowl). He is off to New Hampshire on Monday to visit his girlfriend. Autumn is 12 now, and teaching mom and dad all the Wii games, since Santa was good enough to bring it down our chimney. She is a good athlete, and a better girl, we really enjoy her. Sharon and I just keep truckin along, over 26 years now...We were able to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and Marty, Laurie, Christian and baby Anna, in a cabin in the Carolina mountains. We were also able to spend some time with the Bakers, Hubers and Lagos that week, so it was great!
